Student Guidelines

Code of Conduct (GC)
  • 1. We hereby notify all the students and their parents that, per CBSE guidelines, students will be evaluated for discipline based on the following criteria: Attendance, Sincerity, Behaviour, Values, Neatness, Compliance with School Rules and Regulations, and Attitude toward Society and the Country.
  • 2. Therefore, kindly ensure that all the guidelines listed below are strictly followed.
  • 3. We emphasise elementary qualities like politeness, discipline etc. and encourage our students to imbibe the same in their daily activities. They should greet all the teachers whenever and wherever they meet them. Bullying classmates, using foul language and indecent behaviour inside and outside the school premises would lead to strict disciplinary action.
  • Comprehensive Activity Oriented Teaching through PowerPoint presentations, vocabulary building etc, focusing on ‘Learning by Doing’.
  • 4. They should take good care of their health and remain physically fit and strong.
  • 5. They should never be cruel and should know that cruelty is the trait of a bully, while kindness is the mark of a gentleman. The practice of bullying is strictly prohibited inside the school premises, and no such act will go unnoticed or unpunished.Depending on the gravity of the misconduct, necessary action is to be taken as per CBSE guidelines.

Special Rules
  • 1. Student should carry his / her Almanac to school every day.
  • 2. Parents are requested to avail of the school bus facilities for their children.li>
  • 3. Class Teacher’s Period (CPT) signals all to go to their respective classrooms, in an orderly manner and with silence. Students must prepare for the class assembly as soon as they are in their classes.
  • 4. Students should move in an orderly way while changing classrooms without creating any disturbances for other classes.· School Bags are not to be carried while changing the classrooms
  • 5. The students are strictly advised to use school bags with a school monogram, available at the School Bookstore.

Library Rules (GC)
  • 1. The Library is a Silent Zone. Students must maintain silence in the Library.
  • 2. Students have to pay a fine of Rs. 1/- per day for delay from the due date of return.
  • 3. Students are not allowed to enter the Library with food, water and personal items. They must keep their bags outside the Library before entering.
  • 4. Each student has to show their book at the exit during dispersal.
  • 5. For any loss or damage to the library book, the student has to replace the same within a week
  • 6. Each student must check the library book while it is being issued and notify the Librarian if there are any defects.
  • 7. If any scribbling or damage to the book is found at the time of return, the student will have to replace the book.
  • 8. Students have to replace a book if they misplace it.
  • 9. Once issued from the Library, the students should only bring the books to the School on the day of return, as they might get lost.
  • 10. Students must carry their school almanac and pens/pencils to the Library to maintain a record of the books they read/issued to them.
Positive Behaviour Management

The following disciplinary measures may be adopted by the school in dealing with students behaving in an unruly manner and / or breaching schools disciplinery code/rules.

  • 1. Oral warning and counselling
  • 2. Written warning
  • 3. Detention during the break or on working Saturdays & or denial of school bus service upto 30 days.
  • 4. Suspension
  • 5. Transfer Certificate from the school.
  • Students indulging in aggressive or very violent behaviour will be dropped to and picked up from the school by their parents. They will not be permitted to travel by school bus.
